Don’t be put off by the fact this is a Spar, these sandwiches are amazing! The freshest of ingredients, incredible attention to detail and wonderful service. The tomatoes are so flavoursome and the local Mozzarella is just unbelievable. We spent 3 days in Sorrento and I had 4 sandwiches! Perfect for early morning excursions or late night room snacks. Would highly recommend!!

An above average Spar shop with a wide range of stock at very reasonable prices, the surprise is the 'Bite of Italy' deli counter inside, which offers superb meats, cheeses and olives, plus a fantastic menu of freshly prepared Italian sub sandwiches. This store was a great support for my Sorrento stay, offering all the rose, cold beer, and, my personal choice, Roma Sandwiches, at a third of the price of the hotel I was staying at a few minutes away, and twice the quality. I wasn’t expecting much. I ate a huge extravagant 3-pasta course lunch from 2-5pm and thought I’d buy something (just in case I got hungry) for dinner at 10pm. I didn’t want pizza or anything since I was still full. I asked which sandwich to buy (pointing at the display) and was told to go for the Ham & Cheese (it was only €3.99). I brought it back to the hotel with a huge €1 sparkling water. The sandwich (and the shop) didn’t look like anything special. However, once I started eating the sandwich I couldn’t stop. It was so good! I’m not even a sandwich person but the mozzarella, tomato and ham just blended into a creamy yummy mix in my mouth. What a surprise! I’m so glad I stopped here instead of anywhere else. I might have to go back for more! It was definitely much better than any pizza.Risposta del proprietario

It's just a corner shop, but it also stocks local produce, and they will make to order the most delicious sandwiches with locally produce. After an early flight and transfer from Naples it really filled the spot.

We like our sandwiches and found this shop by chance as it was local to our hotel. On the several occasions we have visited there, we have been very impressed with the quality (and quantity) of the sandwiches and the friendly attitude of the owner. As one reviewer says, this place is a little gem.

Tasty, reasonable priced, big sandwiches with good service. It looks like a normal market outside, but has a fresh counter inside. They have salads too.

The place is now co-branded as Spar but they still make those awesome sandwiches. I have stayed this summer across the road and they provided me the best sandwiches as breakfast before going in my day trips. Even now as I'm writing these lines, my mouth is watering to the taste of those sandwiches! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

was craving a sandwich after a long day in capri & searched on google for stores near me, found this place and it was a 25 min walk from my hotel and it was WELL worth it! the best sandwiches we’ve had, the guy behind the counter was so welcoming, funny and kind. i’m so happy we went & i’d recommend to anyone in the area. Best spot around!!!

Arrived in sorrento late at night when the restaurants were closing up , tired and hungry we came across this little gem of a shop , apart from it selling a wide variety of things it also sells the best fresh sandwiches in sorrento . With fresh gorgeous local produce we went back a few times within our holiday and even took them to the airport on our way home . Brilliant shop serving excellent sandwiches, refreshing drinks and a wide selection of good quality wines. We bought something from them almost every day & night. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommend to anyone staying nearby, you won't be disappointed. Col & Sharon xx
